This U-shaped brick building opened in 1913 as the Severin Hotel. After extensive renovation, the property reopened in 1995 as the Omni Severin Hotel. Situated across the street from historic Union Station, the hotel is connected by skywalk to the Indiana Convention Center and Circle Centre Mall. Perhaps the finest example of the hotel’s earlier era is the opulent Severin Ballroom, with 22-foot-high ceilings, Austrian crystal chandeliers, and Palladian windows.
